Three- to four-hour blocks of classic rock will air daily in the early mornings and in mid-afternoon. Sports ? Sports programming will increase from 3. 5 hours a week to 14. Thunder AM will feature programs from Fox Sports Radio and ESPN Radio including broadcasts of “Mike and Mike in the Morning” five nights a week and a six-hour block of sports talk every Sunday.

Many musical mash-ups have been attempted in the past but one combination that seemed to pass by was opera and classic rock ? until now. The East Village pera Company will perform traditional opera songs re-arranged into a classic rock sound tonight at the Templeton-Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium. The ensemble was co-founded by vocalist Tyley Ross and multi-instrumentalist Peter Kiesewalter. They recruited AnnMarie Milazzo for female vocals and today the group contains eight additional members to provide guitar bass percussion and strings. The band has released three albums since 2004 the most recent being lde School in the summer of 2008 on Decca Records.
